At Shaw Farm, we offer fully tailored livery services to meet the individual needs of your horse. Upon joining our livery, we work closely with you to create the most suitable livery plan. Each plan is based on our core service offering and is then customised to ensure it provides the best care for both you and your horse.
If regular training or schooling is part of your horse’s routine, we can seamlessly integrate this into the plan. Whether it’s lunging, hacking, schooling, or long-reining, our team is experienced in providing a wide range of services to support your horse’s development and wellbeing.
Basic Full Livery
From £150/week
Our basic livery plan includes the following, along with full access to all of our facilities:
- Haylage provided throughout the day, tailored to your horse’s individual needs
- Daily mucking out and regular skip-outs throughout the day
- Daily field or pen turnout, weather permitting*
- Horses exercised on the walker when turnout is unavailable
- Rug changes as required
- Feet washed and picked out
- All hard feed, bedding, and haylage supplied
- Use of all facilities at no extra charge
- Wormers administered
- Veterinary, farriery, and dentistry appointments arranged and supervised
- Discounted lesson & clinic prices
*From November to March, field turnout may be limited at the discretion of SFE due to weather conditions. Pen turnout & horse walker offered in replacement.
Schooling Livery
From £220/week
Our schooling livery plan includes the following, along with full access to all of our facilities:
- Exercising (inc. schooling, lunging, handwalking, hacking or long-reining based on agreed regime)
- Haylage provided throughout the day, tailored to your horse’s individual needs
- Daily mucking out and regular skip-outs throughout the day
- Daily field or pen turnout, weather permitting*
- Horses exercised on the walker when turnout is unavailable
- Rug changes as required
- Feet washed and picked out
- All hard feed, bedding, and haylage supplied
- Use of all facilities at no extra charge
- Wormers administered

Rehabilitation Livery
From £250/week
Our rehabilitation livery service is designed in close collaboration with your vets, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and yourself to develop a customised recovery plan. We cater for both short and long-term cases, including post-operative care. Full box rest, tailored turnout, and regular treatments are available to ensure your horse returns to full health.
We also provide access to all our rehabilitation facilities, including the Theraplate, ARC Equine machine, Equilibrium massage pad, Epiony heat pad, horse walker and solarium, which have proven invaluable in supporting horses during their recovery.
Holiday Livery
From £150/week
While you’re away, let your horse enjoy a break as well. We offer a relaxed environment for your horse to wind down, or you can opt for a fitness regime to keep them in shape while you’re gone. We cater to all needs.
Coaching
Develop your skills and enhance your confidence with expert coaching from Esther Horsfall, with coaching programmes catering to riders of all levels, offering a holistic approach that combines advanced dressage techniques, biomechanics, mindset coaching, and goal setting.
Whether you’re looking for individual dressage lessons, a focused mindset and biomechanics programme, or a comprehensive dressage bootcamp, Esther’s experience and qualifications provide a unique, science-based approach to training. With sessions that address both physical technique and mental focus, Shaw Farm’s coaching services are designed to help every rider reach their full potential.

Dressage Lessons
Experience a unique approach to flatwork training with Esther, where both horse and rider are treated as a complete package. Esther focuses on improving your posture, riding position, and confidence, while also educating you on how to train independently for long-term progress.
An advanced dressage rider with extensive experience, Esther works with riders and horses at all levels. She holds a British Dressage UKCC Level 2 coaching certificate and is a certified 2* Train your Seat Biomechanics coach, a Franklin Method Equestrian trainer, NLP Practitioner, and an Applied Psychology for Equestrians coach. Her qualifications ensure you receive expert guidance on postural alignment, balance, and mindset to enhance both your riding technique and overall confidence.
Mindset & Biomechanics Coaching
Using a science-based approach that focuses on anatomy and brain training, Esther will teach you the skills needed for long-term self-improvement. By improving your body’s efficiency of movement, self-awareness, and mindset, you’ll see significant changes in both your riding and your horse’s performance.
Esther’s deep understanding of human anatomy and the connection between body and brain creates a unique learning experience that extends beyond the arena. Her mindset & biomechanics coaching offers one of the most effective and long-lasting rider improvement systems, grounded in science and designed to train your brain to retain new skills.
Sessions include:
- Anatomical theory
- Imagery theory
- Physical movement assessment
- Ridden assessment
- Written notes & homework to take away
You’ll leave with a deeper understanding, improved feel, and guaranteed progress.
Dressage Bootcamp
The SFE Confidence & Development Dressage Bootcamp is designed to help riders of all levels set and achieve their goals, while building confidence and improving technique. With their combined expertise, Esther and Hattie guide participants through a comprehensive one-day programme that includes:
- Goal-setting workshop
- Private, targeted flatwork session
- Theraplate session
- Pilates session
- Lunch and refreshments
- Demonstration and introduction to higher-level work, test riding, and progressing through the levels
- Paired polework session
- Future planning and personalised homework
Hay and stabling are included. Whether you’re new to dressage or already competing, this bootcamp is tailored to suit all levels and provide valuable guidance from two experienced trainers.
Goal Setting Sessions
Approach your riding progression off the horse, with an unmounted goal setting session designed to simplify your training programme, to create actionable goals and milestones for you and your horse. Remove roadblocks in your training with a private 1:1 session with Esther, where you will map out short, medium and long term goals, and the strategies to achieve them, to unpick your mindset and switch your focus to a positive and achievable attitude.
Esther is an NLP Practitioner, and an Applied Psychology for Equestrians coach, committed to improving the way you view your riding, including the language you use and the thought processes you implement when problem solving your riding. You will take away a workbook from the session, enabling you to look back on your goals and stick to your plan.

Arena Hire
Our top-quality arenas are available for hire to suit a range of training and exercise needs. Choose from our spacious outdoor and indoor arenas or our floodlit turnout lunge pen. Each space is equipped with premium surfaces to ensure the best experience for both horse and rider.
20 x 20 Floodlit Turnout Lunge Pen – £15/hour
With a sand and fibre surface, perfect for lunging and turnout.
60 x 20 Outdoor Arena – £35/hour, plus £5 per additional horse
Equipped with a judge’s hut and a sand and fibre surface.
40 x 20 Indoor Arena – £30/hour, plus £5 per additional horse
Features full-length mirrors and a cushion track classic wax surface.
