Equine Flu Outbreak

With the news of the outbreak of Equine Influenza in the equine industry this has raised some concerns throughout the equine world.

We have taken relevant action and put the below protocol into place.

To allow all visitors the confidence when visiting SFE we would like to share with you all that ALL our livery horses must be fully vaccinated before housing at SFE, and are all our horses are up to date, those actively competing have also either had or are booked in for an additional booster if they are due within the next 6 months. This is not mandatory and purely advisory but we have followed this advice to reduce any risk of infection.

Going forward we do ask the same from our visiting client, such as rehabs, arena hire visitors, horses attending clinics and also our competitors. In order to continue visiting and enjoying our events at SFE we ask that your horses are fully vaccinated and you will or may be asked to produce your passport or vaccination certificate to prove this.

We also ask that is any signs or symptoms of flu are not ignored and if you suspect anything to either report it and have a vet check your horse, or at least do not attend SFE.

We all need to work together in order to reduce the risk of further disease.

Our Beautiful Breaker leaves for home!

After 6 weeks of being stabled with us at SFE, Milly was all excited to be ridden by her proud mum Jenny just before leaving for home. Milly has been a star from day one and has taken everything in her stride. She certainly has a very exciting future ahead of her. We love taking horses for Schooling or Breaking, when we see huge results it makes our job very rewarding.
