Shaw Farm Equestrian offers a calm, kind and friendly atmosphere for both horses and owners alike. The facilities are truly outstanding. I would recommend the yard to everyone, whether you just enjoy hacking out or your a complete dressage nut like me!!’ – Katie Amos.

Esther and her team run the yard in a very professional and friendly way. 5* hotel for horses where nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are super, good stabling, excellent turnout, wash area and solarium, and indoor & outdoor schooling areas. There is also great hacking on the doorstep. Shaw Farm Equestrian is just a great place to be for you and your horse.

When we viewed the yard we instantly loved it! The setting is beautiful and the owner/family members are friendly and approachable.  He is very happy with the personal touches he receives each day and makes full use of all the facilities. I would recommend SFE to anyone.

I came to SFE having lost my confidence and feeling over horsed, Esther and her great team have helped me enjoy my horse again and given me my confidence back. The facilities and services are excellent, the liveries are all lovely and the yard has such a calm atmosphere. We are both in a much happier place than we were 12 months ago, I am looking forward to progressing further.

Catherine MarshallMy daughter has been stabled at Shaw Farm for two years now and has no intention of leaving anytime soon. That is testament in itself! The facilities and care are second to none, you only have to see how far people will travel to be on this yard. The events and clinics are fantastic with the best trainers catering for all. Most of all for me, is the people that make SFE, Esther and her team do an amazing job working 7 days a week to provide the best equine care, nothing is too much trouble. When my daughter is there I have peace of mind that not only is her horse looked after but so is she. I would highy recommend SFE.

At Shaw Farm we strive to offer the best possible livery service, which can be individually designed to best suit you and your horse and ensuring you receive the best possible care.

Together with you and your horse, Shaw Farm will come up with the best possible training regime. Each horse is treated in a sensitive, steady manner and treated as an individual accordingly.

Equine Make-Over

If the competition season is fast approaching or you simply want your horse tidying up then why not book him in for a makeover.

Theres always something happening up at Shaw Farm. We like to try and cater for all levels of riders and horse, so whether you’re a happy hacker, or you compete in anything from Show Jumping to Dressage then we’ll have something for you.

Great few months!

I have neglected the news page of recent months, purely due to SFE being so busy which is fantastic! We completed another wonderful Dressage Series in October and crowned many more riders Champions, the series ran really smoothly and entries were very positive each month. Combined Training Returned with a bang in  November, we had record entries for this event and every rider gave us positive feedback for the future, 2016 will see a return of this event. Rolex and I have had a successful run of late in the dressage arena, and we are pleased to say we have comfortably qualified for the Elementary Regionals in February. Badger my lovely but cheeky 4 year old is also coming along nicely, he is having his first visit to Herefordshire shortly to meet Charlotte DuJardin. I hope she likes him as much as we do! I am sure we will be sent home with lots to work on. Leighton has been very busy over the summer making our horses lots of beautiful haylage, he has also renewed all the electric fencing in the paddocks, they are all now newly fenced with either post and rail or permanent electric fencing, it looks fantastic!!! My teaching seems to have taken off somewhat this year, which is great, I am really enjoying seeing my clients develop week in week out. I am excited to announce my teaching is now open to all, not just my liveries. Our clinics with Jess Dunn, Jo Graham and Tracey Newman have been as popular as ever and we will continue to work alongside these fantastic trainers next year. We have done a couple of charity fund raisers this Autumn too, we had an amazing Hoedown in September which raised over £3000.00 for CRUK, and then we hosted a Table Top Sale this week which raised £440.00. We will be continuing out support to CRUK next year with other events so keep an eye on our events page or facebook. SFE Christmas Party is only two weeks away which is so exciting! However I cannot quite believe where this year has gone, its been a busy one for sure. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my clients, old and new for their continued support and here's to another fantastic year to come at SFE in 2016. Have a great Christmas and New Year guys, Esther xx

Regionals and Livery success.

Well its been a busy week of preening and training our ponies ready for the Winter Regionals at Myerscough International Arena. It is fantastic that four horses from my yard that I have large input with qualified and competed at the Regionals.
